Required Materials
- Lapwrap
- Utility Knife
- Rigid Plastic Card (Eg: Credit Card, Bank Card)
Installation Procedure
1. Ensure surface of laptop is
clean and dry.
2. On the bottom edge, peel the
backing back 2 inches and
press the fold to make a
definite crease.
3. Hold the wrap by the un-covered corners. Be careful
not to stretch the material.
4. Line up the sticky side to the
hinged edge of the laptop cover.
Press firmly to smooth with
your finger tips.
5. Reach under the wrap and pull
back the backing 3-4 inches. With a
rigid plastic card, smooth out
the wrap from the center out.
If a wrinkle appears, simply pull
the material up with a firm tug
and re-smooth.
6. Continue until all of the backing
is off and the wrap is applied.
7. Around the corners gently pull
and stretch the material to fit
around the corner smoothly.
8. Run your fingertip around the
edge of the laptop to stick the
wrap just around the edges.
9. Press the utility knife blade
flat against the edge of the
laptop, paralelling the side. Run
the blade along the edge,
working from the back edge to
the front. Along the front edge,
watch for any closure buttons or
other obstacles that may
interfere with a clean cut.
10. Trim around the hinges.
11. Press firmly over and around
any nameplates and all edges to
press out bubbles, and to seal
the edge.
You're done!
